Immediately from the first phone call we received exceptional customer service, friendly and knowledgeable. A visit to our home for measuring was done quickly and the gent arrived with plenty of samples ans advice, he was also friendly and helpful, balancing our requests with practicality.
When it came to fitting we could not have been happier, it was laid to an exceptionally high standard and more than met out expectations. It looks exceptional and when it comes to renovating the remaining floors we will certainly make the floorbarn our first call. Highly recommended.
We visited Floor Barn, late on a saturday, to make an enquiry after reading good reviews online.
We wanted to have Vinyl fitted to our two landings, stairs and garage. Conscious that this wasn’t a ‘straight forward’ job I wasn’t expecting the patience or expertise that Sarah and Simon were able to display. There wasn’t any sales pressure in the showroom, or during our subsequent visit, rather the motivating purchasing factor being knowledge and a sincere regard for us making the best choices for a fantastic looking floor. So good that we didn’t bother gathering other quotes… the showroom is clearly designed to be a nice chilled out space with retro gaming machines, Chesterfield sofas and a fire place. They were also good with our 20 month old charging around and stroking there carpet samples 🤣
The measurements were carried out a day or two after we left our deposit and the quote arrived the same day. Contact with them on the phone or text was straight forward and never without a response.
During the fitting, which was lead by Simon and assisted by Danny, I felt easy having them around my house. I happily left home occasionally comfortable with them being around by themselves. They were good at communicating what they were doing each day and how long they would be there – all the whilst being respectful of my space as I WFH.
Once it was all laid down we were delighted with the work done. We were clearly given excellent advice to make the right choices from; which way to lay the pattern, the best choice for the pewter finish on the stairs and it all come together better than we had hoped. Most satisfying was that the team clearly had satisfaction for the quality of work they had done, especially given the complicated nature of fitting vinyl to stairs.
I would definitely recommend this company. Clearly the whole team have years of expertise which combined with being great and friendly people, somehow made the whole experience of getting a new floor quite fun. I’m very satisfied with the price and quality of the work. I’m planning on spilling some red wine on some other carpets so we can use them again soon…
