100% Surprising a Customer with Luxurious Wilton Carpet paired with Karndean Van Gogh Herringbone!
Customers old worn out carpet in lounge and dining room
Our fitters emptied the room to begin to uplifting and disposing of all the old floor coverings. Fitters uncovered multiple problems and potential sub floor failures that could arise in the future. This was due to multiple floor boards being cut by previous tradesmen. Floor boards left loose with no wooden supports underneath. A large section of the dining room was concrete, this was found to be crumbling and was breaking up. Some of the floor had previously been patched up with wall plaster!
So our expert fitters reenforced the floor joists and screwed the floor boards back down. The floor was given a deep clean, removing all old nails and staples. The concrete parts of the subfloor was treated with rapid mortar repairs and then screeded level to the newly ply. Our fitters then featheredged all joints ready for the customers new LVT and carpet to be fitted.
