Karndean Art Select Spring Oak Basketweave – Recent Fit
The Floor Barns’ fitting team uplifted the old vinyl flooring. This subsequently revealed a subfloor that had still got remnants of old ceramic tiles and tile adhesive. This subfloor wasn’t in a good state to prepare the ply from. Our fitters used a specialist concrete grinding machine to grind the floor down smooth.
The concrete fire hearth was screeded smooth and level to the new ply.
Once this was complete the fitters then could go ahead an lay the flooring grade ply in readiness for the lvt fit.
Going the Extra Mile
Issues with a faulty valve on the dishwasher meant the water supply had to be turned off. Our fitters contacted a local plumbing supply to purchase a blanking nut for the faulty valve. This meant the water supply could be turned back on, so the customer wasn’t left without water over night.
