Upon first contact our customer were unsure of the flooring they wanted for their new kitchen however after a site visit from our estimator and being advised in store they settled on having sheet vinyl laid with a colour and style that suited the customer and their home as well as supplying and fitting new white shaker skirting boards in the kitchen. Due to the condition of the customers subfloor additional preparation was also required for the fitting of this flooring to prevent any ridges in the floor from showing in the vinyl and causing unnecessary wear to the flooring, in order to avert these issues a layer of standard 9mm ply board was fitted to create an ideal surface for the vinyl flooring to be laid on top of.
