Recent customer fit
Upon first contact with our customer, the customers were unsure of the flooring they wanted for their home. The store staff spent one to one time with the customer showing them different products, different ranges. Explanations of wear layers and advantages and disadvantages of the products shown.
the customer was happy with the product choice of a vinyl as it suited there home lifestyle. The store staff arranged a measure and quote visit suitable for the customer.
On site visit it was established that due to the condition of the customers subfloor additional preparation would also be an advantage. The estimator recommended a layer of standard 9mm ply board to be laid before the fitting of the vinyl. This would prevent any ridges in the floor from showing in the vinyl and causing unnecessary wear to the flooring,
Below are photos of the subfloor before and after prep work. As you can see from pictures it was definitely the right choice for the customer to go with the advise of the estimator and have the subfloor prepped with the plyboard. It really does make a remarkable difference to the finish of the final fitting of the sheet vinyl and will prolong the life of it too. As standard the Tarkett range now has 25 years guarantee.
