The Rose and Crown – Hoylandswaine
Reopened in April 2023 after a period of closure. The Floor Barn has recently installed New beautiful carpets, transforming the space.
The Rose & Crown sits at the heart of the community of Hoylandswaine, a small village close to Penistone, and within three miles of the M1.
The Rose & Crown is a great spot for a relaxing Sunday lunch or a quick pint with friends. It serves high quality traditional pub food, which we regard as high restaurant quality. A good selection of quality cask ale completes the country inn feel. Internally, the pub is decorated and presented to a high standard, with good quality fixtures and fittings including carpets fitted by our lads!
Just off the dining area is a well laid out and fully equipped trade kitchen. Externally, there is a large car park, patio area to the front and a landscaped beer garden is also to the rear of the pub.
The reviews from customers are overwhelmingly positive, with many praising the friendly staff, delicious food, and great atmosphere. The Pub is a great example of a traditional rural pub that provides quality home cooked food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!
