The bleached blonde and honey tones of our Pale Limed Oak are now available in a smaller 18” x 3” plank which can be laid in a herringbone or block design for an extra sense of style. A homely, neutral flooring option, this design features realistic colour variation between planks and is very easy to keep clean and maintain.
This design is also available in a larger 36” x 6” plank

Mr And Mrs S came to The Floor Barn to choose a new floor for their home. They fell in love with The Pale Limed Oak in the Herringbone size.
The old flooring needed to be fully uplifted and disposed off. The old ceramic floor had failed. The ceramics had been fitted on 4mm ply and should have realiastically been fitted on a 9mm mm board.
There was floor level differences and due to the high possibility of the subfloor not being primed the tiles over time had worked their way loose. Grout was working its way out of joints.
Old lvt flooring had also been fitted directly onto sub base without ply which is not correctly installed. All the old tile adhesive, ply take and old skirting boards taken off before the fitters could then a deep clean ready for the new floor prepping.
All floors were prepped with a 12mm ply and feather edged.
The Floor Barn supplied an in house plumber to take the downstairs toilet out and replace after fully fitted.
