Customers can sometimes have issues at home meaning that repair work has to be carried out on subfloors before flooring can then be fitted. Its not nice when customers experience leaks.
One of our customers had a boiler leak which led to damaged flooring by ruining the old laminate and chipboard subfloor. The Floor Barn Fitters were called upon to inspected the damage. They uplifted the damaged floor and subfloor. Doing so reveal joists which needed a little attention.
The fitters then installed new chipboard subfloor. After which they then lined the floor out with 9mm ply. The customer decided to go with a Tarkett vinyl also at customers request fully sealed up to make it waterproof.
