The old fully stuck vinyl had to be uplifted before the new flooring could be installed. Once the vinyl was fully uplifted our flooring fitters screed-ed the whole sub-floor and then applied chemical DPM. Once this stage was complete a further final screed was applied and buffed down. This process is paramount to the final finish of the floor. A Perfect looking floor is hard to accomplish without the extreme lengths of sub floor preparation.
Preparing the floor is vital for any LVT to become a statement.
